Christian Zöllner · Consulting for processes & AI
Deployed worldwide — next stop: your company.
I'm Christian Zöllner. I help you find out where AI really saves your company time and money — and then build a system that works in everyday operations. You'll see the first measurable results within weeks, not quarters.

Understanding
Family business or corporation, shop floor or boardroom — I have worked in all of these worlds, on several continents. We talk about your problem from the first minute, not about basics.
Focus
After two decades of process work I quickly see where a workflow is leaking money. That protects you from the most expensive mistake in AI projects: impressive technology applied to the wrong process.
Honesty
I build and run AI systems myself, every day. You get an assessment rooted in practice — even when it occasionally is: AI isn't worth it here yet.
A conversation instead of a CV
Because I did the math. Tasks I used to plan weeks for — process mapping, documentation, analyses — are handled in days by well-built AI systems today. I have never seen a leap like that in my career; in 2025 it shifted my focus.
The experience before that is the real advantage: I have seen so many plants, warehouses and back offices that I quickly recognize where a process loses money — and where getting into AI pays off first. Because AI projects rarely fail because of the technology. They fail because of unclear processes, bad data and employees nobody brought along — exactly the things I have been working on all along.
With me, you talk to the person who will also build it. Analysis, recommendation and implementation come from one pair of hands; nothing gets lost in handovers, and you see early whether it works. What I recommend, I have built in similar form myself and have in use — on my own infrastructure in Germany. I know what such a system costs, what it delivers and where it causes trouble.
And I work for companies that bring two things: a concrete process where impact can be measured, and someone in the house who genuinely wants the change. Whether that is 50 employees or 100,000 is secondary.
With a conversation: 30 minutes, no strings attached. You tell me where things are stuck and get an honest assessment — including the areas where AI won't help you. If you want to continue, we run a workshop and then a four-to-six-week pilot on exactly the process in question. After that, you decide based on your own numbers.
And we settle the data question before a single line gets built: depending on your protection needs, the range goes from European providers with proper data processing agreements to systems running entirely on your own hardware. To me, the data protection officer and the works council belong at the table from day one.
“AI is the most powerful tool I have ever come across in process work. But it only saves money once someone applies it in the right place.”
From practice
Case 01 · Knowledge retention
A company's most valuable knowledge is not written in any manual — it lives in the heads of experienced employees. It rarely gets documented, because classic process mapping is expensive and outdates quickly. This is exactly where AI is strong: it holds the conversation with the employee, asks follow-up questions where things stay unclear, and turns what was said into structured, searchable documentation. Days of effort per process become one conversation — and the knowledge belongs to the whole company.

Case 02 · Financial planning
Monthly liquidity planning used to be manual work: figures from accounting, banks and open items, merged by hand in Excel. A standard tool would have meant licenses plus expensive customizing — and still not quite fit. Using AI as a development tool, I instead built exactly the solution that was needed: automatic data import, evaluation at the push of a button. And the system can be developed further in-house, step by step, as the business changes.

Case 03 · Warehouse & materials
In many companies the warehouse runs on paper slips and shouted questions: material gets searched for, ordered twice or sits at the wrong site. Instead of a heavyweight ERP project I built a QR-based warehouse system: every receipt and every withdrawal is captured on a smartphone in seconds — stock and movements are instantly visible to everyone. No training marathon, because using it is as easy as taking a photo.

Case 04 · Routine work
The stage after the chatbot: agents that completely take over recurring tasks — monitoring systems, gathering information, writing reports and delivering the finished result to your inbox in the morning. Agents like these run around the clock on my own platform; among other things, they operate the infrastructure this website runs on.

The first step costs 30 minutes and nothing else: you bring a process that annoys you — I will tell you what AI can realistically achieve there. And what it can't.
